The Patriarchy Owes Me is a free, data-backed calculator that prices unpaid domestic and reproductive labour at market rates and generates a personalised, itemised invoice.
It prices cooking, cleaning, laundry, childcare, life admin, pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding using real data sources: domestic worker market averages, ILO statistics, obstetric nursing rates, and the Child Penalty Atlas (Kleven et al., 2024). The result is a specific number. A forensic accounting of labour that has never appeared in any GDP figure, pay gap report, or equality index.
The tool launched in June 2026. It is free to use. It has no advertising.
